I had head that bamboo is as comfortable as cotton but is cooler. It is also (like cotton) renewable and sustainable. I purchased two collared golf shirts both Monterey Club brand.This brand is cut very big, I am in between medium and large so the first two were purchased in large and I had to exchange them for mediums because they were too large for me.I wore the first yesterday to work in a hot August South Florida summer day and I thought that they seemed to breath better than a cotton blend and the material is extremely soft to the touch.I am pleased with the product and I will look for others as I need new shirts..
