UPDATE 5/18/17: I did end up hemming these because they quickly became my go-to comfy pants for running errands in. Now a year and a half later I am sitting here, updating this review while wearing these very pants. I have tried to find other leggings for my everyday attire and keep coming back to these. Now that I found they make a capri version, I am ordering those now for the summer. Great pants, very comfortable and not the least bit sheer (for black version). Oh, and they stand the test of time, wear and regular cycle washes (cold wash, normal drying). No issues other than needing to hem them (which was very manageable with my budget sewing machine with a stretch stitch). Yep, easily my favorite pants.I LOVE the feel of these pants. I was actually looking for something I could ice skate in. I wanted something with plenty of give, snug in the waist without being uncomfortable and flared a tad as a boot cut. And these hit the nail square on its head. The material isn't thin to the point of seeing undergarments start/finish (as we all know some yoga pants can be) and isn't so thick I would feel overheated during a workout our hotter weather. The only thing I didn't like was the "petite" version was still 3 inches too long for me at 5'1". BUT the length was prefect while skating... Just not walking around in. Nothing a quick hem won't fix.
