For those of us who are grossed out by the smell leftover from a long day in cotton/spandex (or dare I say nylon/spandex) undies, there's hope in these gems. I just bought my third pair. If you're wondering why people are wearing wool undergarments, read on. At this stage of my 40+ life, I'm not trying to wear thongs and styles that don't cover my butt. These cover nicely, look flattering, are forgiving in size, yet don't remain stretched ot after washing, and... well... they DON'T stink. That's right. Picture "SmartWool" odor-resistant socks having the same effect for your sensitive regions. I tested these out camping, wearing one pair one day, hand-"washing" them (but with ONLY water), and wore the second pair on day two. They didn't seem to take any longer to line-dry overnight than cotton undies do, although drying in the sun would have taken less time. I have dried these in front of a fan with much success. Stink level after washing with only water? ZERO. I'm serious... they literally smell brand-new every day and I haven't even washed them with soap (yet?) I don't know if I will ever wash them with soap at this point, but perhaps I would in a shart-attack kind of situation. They're not too heavy, not too warm, and perfect in comfort. Worth every penny of the $30. If the durability goes down, I'll update my review, because I've had my other two pairs less than a month. But I'm still wearing my "Woolly" brand undershirts, "Minus33" brand leggings, and "SmartWool" brand socks with regular rotation, and I just can't give up wearing wool undergarments. I'm a bit of a minimalist, so I go for quality over quantity in the few things that I buy or can't make/produce myself. I'm quite tall, too... and wear a 14 in USA size, and the large fit perfectly. Buy with confidence!
