I purchased a small/ medium for my husband who usually wears a med. This is HUGE!! After I received it I noticed it say “ fits. 56” chest “ How is that small med? So I sent it back. The hoodie on it is a plus and it has washed well. Only worn it a couple times but having gone through many robes in my lifetime, this is a keeper.good light robe. I'm a bigger guy, so the size was great for covering my stomach. hood is nice although I don't it as much as I thought. lanyard to smaller than I wanted. since I am a bigger guy I don't have alot of extra slack left. has two loops to put lanyard through. high and lower. lower one interfere with using the pockets but not enough to be a big issue.I like the material, comfy like bedsheets. There were some loose threads, but the cost is super low, so I can tolerate that. The cinch belt doesn't sit where I would want it, but it is still comfortable.It turned out to be a little heavier cloth than I thought it was going to be. That said, it is comfortable and seemingly well madeS-m works great for my son at 5’11” 156ilns- we thought there were 2 pockets but there is only one. Super llight material. Bot for you if you need one to absorp water after shower
