Rose Green Tea is a green tea scented with aroma from rose petals and buds to make a scented tea. Typically, the resulting flavor of rose green tea is subtly sweet and highly fragrant. Tea leaves are harvested in the early spring and stored until the late summer when fresh rose flowers are in bloom. Rose buds and flowers are picked early in the day when the small petals are tightly closed. The flowers are kept cool until nightfall. During the night rose flowers open, and release their fragrance, and this is when the tea scenting takes place. The hottest steeping temperatures are 81 to 87 °C (178 to 189 °F) water and the longest steeping times two to three minutes. The coolest brewing temperatures are 61 to 69 °C (142 to 156 °F) and the shortest times about 30 seconds
