As a long stand buyer of Young Living's Deep Relief, I find PanAway to be very poor replacement and basically ineffective on it's own. I have a very sensitive tolerance of pain -- and according to doctors, it is un-naturally too low, so what can I say? I'm a nurse and I believe that pain is what a patient says it is. In the past, I was prescribed post surgery morphine, roxy, Norco's .... you name it -- after taking care of patients who have terrible pain, the effect those heavy duty drugs has on my pain is the equal to a couple aspirin. Deep Relief worked for me. But Deep Relief has grown scarce -- as probably folks reading this review already knows. Not sure where that whole thing is stemming from, but my guess is either poor planning on oil production or a planned scarcity to increase revenue. I am devastated if that is truth -- to be charged so much for the only thing that works. So I am frantically looking elsewhere for their pain relief. I had hoped the hype in this particular listing for PanAway would be true replacement for me. But it's not. I just cannot support this product -- it's wintergreen oil, peppermint,, clove and Helichrysum -- none of these I would judge as particularly good for anti-inflammatory oils. Also the 5mL bottle is quite expensive for these ingredients. The product says clearly to dilute in carrier oil but doing so makes it more ineffective for me. I have combined this PanAway with the Deep relief to get some slightly better results from reducing the amount of Deep Relief needed to address my severe neck pain. It works for an hour at best to some degree.I hope Young Living gets it together to provide this product in abundance -- I think this is the only thing that will save customers going to the other major essential oil people. This is one of the most expensive oil blends I've ever purchased. I have used other oils by Young Living in the past and have found them to be life saving. I had yet to try PanAway which really should be called Pain Away. It has the scent of wintergreen and works like a menthol cream except without the heating and cooling sensations. The best way to use this very concentrated oil is to put five to ten drops in a tablespoon of almond or olive oil. Keep it in a seperate bottle with a label on it. I applied this to my lower back and to my wrist which was aching for some reason. On my back I only needed one application but on my wrist the pain was deeper. However the pain started to go away after just a few minutes after applying the oil. I do find that you need to apply this oil more often than a menthol cream. It is however a good alternative to less natural products. I would buy this again.~The Rebecca ReviewFrom my research with oils, young Living is very fussy about their quality and purity, soi pay extra for it.Removes swelling and pain naturally. My jury is still out on it's effectiveness but the more I use it on soreness, it seems to be working. The scent is a little stronger than the one I used, when first introduced to it by a neighbor. My sister who is in the medical field and very skeptical of natural things actually used it with me and she thinks it worked and ordered a bottle too!It really work, the pain goes away immediately. You can used it with sinus headaches, muscle pain or any other type of pain.I have upcoming complex foot reconstruction surgery soon due to a very bad bike accident that was misdiagnosed. I have a crushed talus bone, a cluster of broken bones on the inside of my foot, bone on bone across the midtarsal, and a tendon problem that wraps around the ankle bone. I wear a boot all day but by night time my foot is very sore and painful. I use about 5 drops of Panaway, massaging the oil into my foot, then use coconut oil and rub that in over the Panaway which allows my muscles to relax and relieve the pain and discomfort. I have used several of the Young Living oils and find Panaway to live up to the outstanding Young Living reputation. This stuff is amazing for preventing migraines when they startyes, I used it before and am very happy with the product, will recommend to anyone!Yes it is a good oil, but I thought i had ordered peace and calming. However, I can still use it and it was a really good price.Excellent!!!Wonderful helpef a lot will recommend itThank youneed more time to full asses
