I got these leg warmers because they claim to be a wool blend. I am in love with wool for Wisconsin winters. I cant read Chinese to read the tag so I can't be sure, but judging by the feel if there is wool in these, it's not much.I wear skirts most of the time, and hate when my toes sweat in my wool socks while sitting around the house so I had hoped these would solve the problems of cold legs & toes that need to breath. They may do that yet, though not as well as I'd hoped. They are quite stretchy, except for the lace band at the top. Which doesn't have a millimeter of stretch to it & is sewn to stay above a petite knee. My knees aren't huge, but they aren't petite either so getting these above my knee will remain a fantasy. This of course means that they're a big baggy top to bottom. I ended up folding the top over under my knee to at least keep them smooth.They are cozy & comfortable. They do seem to be decently made. I think so long as you know that unless you have very thin knees they aren't likely to cover more than the calf they'd still be worth buying. I think I'm going to keep looking for some I can pull up properly, but these will get some use in the meantime.Update: 12/2020I'm back to buy more of these. I haven't tried a fiber test but I'm not quite as doubtful about these being a wool blend as I was initially. They do a better job than you'd expect at warmth for most fabrics given the holes.Despite my initial disappointment, I wear these all the time around the house in the winter. I wish they were slightly looser in the band & longer so I could wear them above the knee, but I still really like them.I would recommend these, just know what to expect. For reference, my calves are about 16.75" at the widest point & 19.25" above the knee. Plenty of stretch at the calf, as much as you could want. It's just the band at top that's tight.
