Had to order 40R to get one that fit.Normally wear 42R. Had to have sleeves shortened to fit.If you want a heavy wool blazer, this might work for you. Material surface is fuzzy, like some miltary uniforms. Pet hair, light debris sticks like glue. Not an all season jacket. Seems well made. Fit is a tiny bit large but not bad. All ouside pockets sewn shut. Shape of the jacket is somewhat ruined by low-budget shipping. Folded like a shirt and jammed into ziplock bag and then shipped inside another shapeless plastic bag. So certain to be abused in shipping.Shoulders a bit lumpy as a result. Never mind all the wrinkles. May be helped by prefessional pressing. Which you should not have to do with a brand new jacket.OK for the money, I guess, if you dont mind paying to have it pressed after you get it. And live in a colder climate.Order a few new sport coats due to recent weightloss. In tandem, bought a couple locally. These were better in every way and less than 1/2 the cost.Very pleased with this jacket. I have owned 40 eights but purchase the 46 which fit much better. It appears to me that they run a little large. Would love to get a tailored just a bit but for less than $100 a very nice jacket.Overall I'm very satisfied with this sports jacket. It is a medium - to - heavy weight sports coat (i.e. not for warm weather), with a nice lining and while a wool-poly blend it looks and feels like wool. It fit correctly for the size I ordered.I ordered this blazer in the charcoal color initially and was pleasantly surprised at the quality so I ended up buying a second one in blue. The jacket is very well made and the fit is very good. The lining is very impressive compared to other similarly priced jackets on Amazon that I've seen. As a wool blend jacket, this is not going to be worn in the summer months, but for cooler temperatures, its perfect. As I stated, the fit is very comparable to standard American jacket sizing, so no problems there. The only issue was that the shoulders seemed to have a little bit of an odd shape to them. However, its not something I am bothered by or will even notice when I'm wearing it. With the amount of wool in the fabric, it does tend to have a "fuzzy" texture, almost like a fleece material, the charcoal more so than the blue one. The pockets on the outside do come sewn shut to keep the jacket in pristine shape. This is common and only need to be carefully picked open. I have seen other reviewers mistakenly state that the pockets are fake. Not so. I have been so pleased with this jacket for the price that it elicited a review from me, which I rarely do. Very happy with the purchase.Fits well and is made well and decentprice.Good value.The jacket was shipped in a suit box...ready to go...no wrinkles. The material is 100% wool, soft, not cashmere soft but very nice, not scratchy. The fit for a 44R at 5' 8" around180 LBS was almost perfect. The sleeves are a tad too long but not enough to warrant the expense of adjustment, less than an 1/8". Was pleasantly surprised with 4 liner pockets, pen and bus. card and 2 regular. The craftmanship is very good. Much better than what I would expect for a $100 jacket. Overall, vey pleased and impressed.Much better than expected!
