How do I know GrowTrax will work in my climate? GrowTrax uses a propriety seed blends custom designed to grow in all climates. Our GrowTrax Blue Rye is great for cold climates. The GrowTrax Tall Fescue is good for "Cool/Moderate" climates. Bermuda is great for hot or extremely hot temperatures. Is GrowTrax affected by wind? Yes! Don't lay GrowTrax in windy conditions. Choose calm days, or pre-water in windy areas for better stick. Add soil on the wind-facing edge of GrowTrax to prevent lift, allowing grass to grow through. What kind of seed is in GrowTrax? Not all grass seed is created equal, the quality of the actual seed is reflective in the quality of the grass to be grown; GrowTra only uses premium certified weed free Oregon seed. Is GrowTrax safe for pets? GrowTrax is safe for pets because it`s real grass. We recommend keeping pets off the GrowTrax until the grass has grown 3 inches. If pets will be outside, we recommend sectioning off an area for GrowTrax and an area for pets to play.

What I love about this product is that your seed stays in place. You need to make sure you install this not over existing grass at all. it needs to be a blank space entirely.I have planted some last year and this year. The stuff from last year looks great. I had a large spot on the side of my fence. I put half down since it was left from last year and it grew perfectly. I ordered more and that stuff is growing really well. This year I did put down about 1 inch of scotts seeding soil and I think that helped.The seed I put down earlier is thick and looks amazing. You can also tell from my picture how the second batch is doing. I think we are at about 3 weeks.The only down sides I would say is you need to absolutely water the heck out of it... 2 to 3 times a day depending on how warm and how much sunlight it is getting. The other would be when you first put it down it tends to blow in the wind if you don't keep it wet.I highly recommend this product if you have the right conditions for it. I do not recommend for patches only larger areas.Would love to help this company if I can.
