My old one was clicking so we replaced it with a used one from a parts car we had and a few months later it broke. We got this to replace my second one and within within week or two it started clicking as well. I believe this is a known problem, but a rather annoying one.I am used to Dorman products as I used to mess around with cars. I know it's an OEM maker to a lot of brand name parts. This part replaces the Mercedes ML320 heater door flap motor perfectly with the only exception is the part where the lever fits into is plastic instead of pot metal the OEM part has. I don't see it being a high wear part, so plastic is just as good for me.Replacing the part is tricky as you have to loosen two Phillips screws behind the airbag mounting bracket which can be hard to get to. I recommend a thumbwheel ratchet tool (you can find it at Amazon too) attached to a 1/4" drive socket bit holder and a Phillips bit.I have 2001 ML320 W163 that was having issues with the air conditioning. The a/c would blow warm air intermittently and than recently started getting a clicking noise behind the dash. After replacing the actuator it fixed the problem.The product is not as well made as the original part, which has screws holding it together instead of cheap plastic tabs. That being said, this product is fully functional after 3 months of use.I got it within a week of ordering and it was exactly what I needed to get my air in my car working again. Of course one of my nephews was the hero. He actually checked out and pinpointed my problem within minutes. He also installed the actuator within minutes also. Great Product! Great Price! Great Performance!!Pain in the butt to install on 2013 GMC Acadia, but works as describedproduct fit in my e90 BMW but found out that wasn't the problem so ended up not using it but the product seemed to be well built and it did fit in my car just like the original.The replacement blend door arrived within a week of placing the order and works perfectly.Dealership wanted $90.00 more for same part.Perfect Fit for my 2008 BMW x5 4.8i
