Overall, I love this coat. I bought three in fact, one for each car in our family, so I would always have it available no matter what car we were in. The color is lovely, and it looks much more luxurious and expensive than the $66 each one cost.There are some oddities about it though. There are many visible pockets, but none are real. Not the chest one, which is just fake, nor the ones on the sides with buttons which are fake too. But then there are real pockets beneath the fake one which are large and hold big hands like mine. It would have been nice if they were one and the same as the visible ones so they could be snapped or buttoned closed and things couldn’t fall out, but that’s OK.The oddest part is the inner zip-in part I would call a dickey. The great part about it is that it helps keep your neck warm with a piece inside the main jacket, and without folding in the lapels. It also almost looks like you are wearing a another garment underneath that perfectly matches your outer jacket, like you are a fashion god.But the odd part about it is that if you open the coat, it is too short for the overall coat length and just looks odd. My wife said maybe that makes it easier to pee or something. I thought perhaps they just didn’t want to make different versions for different coat lengths (mine shown is an XL) but my wife also pointed out the neck would be too wide on it for small coats if it is was one size.The solution is to make sure as soon as you open the coat’s lower buttons, you always unzip that right away. The top button can be undone and it looks fine, and if all are unbuttoned and then it is unzipped, it is barely noticeable (see first photo). I decided I like it enough for the closed state and semi-open state that it was worth always quickly doing that if I fully open it vs. removing that part (which does zip out).Again, odd details aside, I do like it quite a bit in color and style, and if I hadn’t bought all three from the start would buy the other two now.
